Hi - Hello

My name is Jennie Lowe, and I am the founder of Kila Siku, a slow-fashion brand born from my love for timeless, sustainable design and my role as a mom. Kila Siku celebrates the multifaceted lives of the modern women.

A Little About Me I am a proud mother of two boys, Levi and Jude, and recently completed my MBA at UCLA—a journey I undertook while navigating the challenges of pregnancy and motherhood. My husband and I live in Los Angeles and met at our home church in Santa Monica. Balancing my studies, family life, and entrepreneurial dream taught me resilience and ignited my passion for creating something meaningful: Kila Siku.

The Birth of Kila Siku Kila Siku was founded during nap times and late nights as a tribute to craftsmanship, sustainability, and functionality. Our leather bags are sustainably upcycled, handmade by a family-run workshop in India, and feature premium gold hardware sourced from Japan. Each piece reflects my commitment to honoring artisans, supporting parents in India, and crafting items that stand as the antithesis of fast fashion. For me, Kila Siku is more than a brand—it’s a mission to give dignity to handmade work and to promote ethical consumerism.

How We Fit Into Your Life The Kila Siku woman embraces purpose with style, whether she is climbing the corporate ladder, studying, or shaping young minds at home. I created Kila Siku because you deserve value quality, sustainability, and style. My bags were designed with versatility in mind—chic enough for the boardroom but functional enough to carry daily essentials (even if that includes snacks and toys!).

Why Kila Siku? In a time when fast fashion dominates, Kila Siku offers a refreshing alternative: handcrafted, sustainable pieces that tell a story.
